The word "enemy" appears throughout the book. I view it as a personality trait that eventually ended his presidency. I wish he could have corrected that defect.

I respect your opinion. Many had the same. However, at that time, I felt the best thing for the Nation was for us to forget Mr. Nixon and move on. Mr. Ford felt the same. Nothing would have satisfied Mr. Nixon's adversaries.

It is documented in text and in his own words. Even in death, Mr. Nixon cannot escape his legacy. If people want to know, they can find out.
