Nick, Consolidation has been the trend in many industries recently. It is always possible someone will try to buy Qwest. None of us have a crystal ball, and most of us are not part of a board of directors. We will always be the last to know. Best way to be safe is to hedge, or write calls if you are long. I intend to look into both in time. I think November will be interesting for Qwest/USWest. The merger is supposed to be completed then. I decided I would hold this stock for 5 Years prior to buying.
