Municipalities would be at the bottom of my list. the only problem I ever had with a payment using Checkfree was with my city's water and sewer department. This was about 4 years ago. some clerk had never seen a check payment like that before. Didn't think it was authentic because it did not have the bill statement enclosed. Stuck in a drawer somewhere and charged me a delinquent fee the next month.
