NW says that Cisco's Catalyst 8510 gigabit switches, a five-slot, 5G bit/sec model is expected to ship in June, and the 8540, a 13 slot, 20G bit/sec model is expected to ship in September. They expect Cisco to make the announcement this month and show the products in May at NetWorld + Interop 98.
