I must admit that the Arabic system should rightfully be called the “Arab-Indian” numerical system; and it appears the lions portion of it's development belongs to the Indians rather than arabs. books.google.com www-groups.dcs.st-and.ac.uk Geez guys -- every time I try to credit islam with something worthwhile, I get shot down with objective data.
