This Pew poll is more than strange. First Romney did not "pull even". Among LVs, he pulled ahead 49% - 45%. You care about LVs more than RVs in polling. Note that the sample is completely different from three weeks ago. Pews Sept 12-16 poll had a D+10 sample among LVs, and showed Obama +8 Pews Oct 4-7 poll has a R+5 sample among LVs and shows Romney +4
