Suma, the difference between Clinton and Joe (or Jo) Everyperson is that he was THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, THE LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD, when he succumbed to his adolescent side and let it distract him from the nation's business. He had very important responsibilities which he didn't address properly, in part because of his own idiotic behavior. Pop psychoanalyis and "should we forgive him?" belong to the sphere of private relationships, not public, especially not at the level of the Presidency. Clinton was far being from the first President to fool around, but the others, i.e. Kennedy, at least respected their position and responsibilities enough to not let it distract them. Everyone has weaknesses; the question is, what do you do when the chips are down, and what are your priorities? Kennedy was an adult. Clinton apparently has never grown up.
