11:53 ET FBI warns D.C. banks of credible threat : According to Dow Jones, the FBI has warned banks in D.C. of a credible threat and urged them to evacuate downtown branches. Also contributing to equity weakness is an S&P downgrade of Japan's debt rating, which hit almost simultaneously with the D.C. reports. While the downgrade was expected by those who track the bond markets, the headline is weighing on stocks, and providing some support to treasuries.
