it will cause their own ignore "score" to rise. I think that is only fair because I feel that use of the ignore function is
probably more illustrative than other measures as to what the poster is about. If people choose to use it, their profiles should reflect it.
Exactly. And that's what I do. There have have been a few times when it seemed that people would not respond to me when I used it, but otherwise, I follow your practise.
