In that one post Eric, you demonstrated why the simpletons of Global Alarmism lack credibility. They don't understand physics. You are right that windows provide net energy gains inside a house. That's the nice simplistic part of it. But we are discussing Global Warming, not the cheapest way to heat your house.

"Simplistic" does not mean simple.

It's more of your checklist mentality. You might want to take some physics classes though that doesn't guarantee the ability to think about physics problems. It just provides the basic tools with which to think.

You won't understand, even if I laboriously explain it again.

Try to think about the net heat in the atmosphere once all the thermodynamic processes such as the heat going in your window leaking back out into the air again, slowed by your insulation, but not stopped.

You get free light and therefore heat in your windows. That's Global Warming. If it was reflected straight back out like the sensible Wharfie does with his white roof, it would not be turned to heat in the air. Heat in the air is the problem that the Global Alarmists are trying to solve. It isn't a problem, but if it was and they were not hypocrites, they would understand that reflecting it rather than letting it in the window would help cool the atmosphere. You can't understand that.

Insulation would keep you warm. So you could reflect the light and wear the insulation to reduce Global Warming and Climate Change.

For some reason, you can't understand that. I say it's because you don't want to understand it because of hypocrisy - you are serving your personal interest in "free" energy for you personally and to Hell with everyone else.

Simpletons believe in the simplistic Global Warming theory that CO2 produced by people will cook the planet. Nature has now demonstrated for nearly 2 decades that the theory is simplistic and that the reality is more complex than what the simpletons thought. The graphs of air temperature expectation are wrong.

Your faulty thinking is that solar energy is good. Photovoltaics = good. Windows letting light in for heating = good. Those are air heaters!! Global Warming!!! Best to pay the roof white or glue aluminium foil on it. On the walls put a cladding with reflectors angled back up to space. No heating or air conditioning allowed. Wear clothes to keep warm.

It's simple physics Eric. Even a pilot should be able to understand it.
