Yes, it is hard to buy them especially when they are up 100, 200% before. But hen it is not too different to long term investing, just a bit compressed. When the stock bottoms out during the day and the demand/supply sutiation is satisfying, why not give it a hit.

(But then, who would bid up yahoo which is up 15x in less than 2 years...or many small stocks which are up five to tenfold since November...?)

I've learned for a long long time but now I trust in charts, especially when high volume stabilises the stock. And then when I own or buy, say 5k shares and the bids are untouched and good for 20, 30k (200k in MCLLs case) there is little downside and much upside once the momentum picks up. It is gaming.... and the wager is commission + a teenie but the gains...
