Hi bbruin,
I have limited time right now so only had time to post on one thread, and I chose JAWZ. Why? Because of the conference call. It was very impressive. For those who didn't hear it, I urge you to take 45 minutes out of your life and call the replay number 1-800-749-9947. You can hear a replay of the call from now through about July 13th.
Some highlights.
1)Audit by Ernst & Young will be completed soon.
2)15(c)211 is already complete
3)Once the Standard & Poor's application is through, they will be blue-skied in 32-40 states.
4)Should be fully reporting by the end of July or at least by end of summer.
5)No one even came close to breaking the code and there were entries from all over....U.S., Canada, Singapore, Finland, Denmark, Australia, Austria, etc. In fact, they are extending the contest another 30 days, so confident is JAWZ that their code is unbreakable.
6) Contest has generated huge amount of attention. Examples are Windows Magazine, PC Weeks, Aberdeen Group, and Yankee Group.
7) A written report by the world renowned engineering firm, SNC Kilborn will be on the JAWZ website soon. (By July 6th)
8) JAWZ software retails for $49.95. It's unique in that it is already higher than the industry standard, it has ease of use, it is fast and it is very small. It easily fits onto the smartcards.
9) The most comparable competitor whose product is also small and fast is selling for $22 per share with a buy rating of up to $50. Except this competitor (Certacom) is only targeting the smartcard market. JAWZ is targeting all markets.
IMPORTANT - Since JAWZ is a Canadian company, legal opinions have been given from both U.S. and Canadian sources that it is legal for JAWZ to sell the 4096 bit to the American market. They will take each country on a case by case basis.
10) JAWZ has been developing this product for 15 years. Became a public company in Feb, 1998 so the R & D portion is already complete.
An aside: 15 years? Gee, kind of makes me feel chagrined by my impatience a few months ago.
Please do yourselves a favor and listen to the replay. First class conversation by first class people. Robert Kuppernaus and Mitch Tarr were VERY impressive in how they handled themselves.
Anybody have any more to add? Did I leave anything out? Did I report everything accurately?
Great, great phone call! Will look forward to the next one on July 13th.
