thestreet.com on 2 upgrades (no new info) thestreet.com Stratus Computer (SRA:NYSE) shares were up 2 13/16, or 9.9%, to 31 11/16 after Ascend Communications (ASND:Nasdaq) confirmed it will acquire Stratus for $822 million. Ascend, which fell 13.6% Friday in anticipation of the news, was off another 3/8 to 44 1/8 despite receiving an upgrade from BT Alex. Brown to buy from market perform and a reiterated buy recommendation from J.P. Morgan.
