I have just noticed that MS has released a new photo-editing
and drawing software product, PhotoDraw 2000. $149 and may
be bundled with Office 2000. It supports PhotoShop plug-ins.

I bet that Adobe et al are just delighted. Having courted and then
betrayed Lotus and WordPerfect in office software, it seems that
the graphics people are next. Strange why they sold Softimage
though. Maybe they just needed the money! :-)

Anyway, this is getting a bit of the SGI thread, but I thought
it might be of interest, given SGI's increasing involvement with
MS.
