I'm pretty sure that the perceived differences in price are simply currency differentials. It sure is nice to see our neighbours have to pay more than we do. But this "more" is simply because of their now weaker dollar.

Incidentally, logic tells me that we pay "less" even for Canadian stocks when our currency is worth more, and they have to pay "more" for US stocks because their currency is weaker. In other words value is value and shouldn't be confused with currency. Stocks are a hedge against currency fluctuations even for locals.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. LOL
