(COMTEX) B: Dell Aims to Maintain 100 Percent Growth in Mexico B: Dell Aims to Maintain 100 Percent Growth in Mexico MEXICO CITY, Jul. 15 (El Universal/Infolatina)-- Dell, the world's leading direct seller of computing equipment, more than doubled its sales in Mexico last year, and hopes to continue similar growth in years to come. Effectively, during the first quarter of this year its sales grew 3.5 times faster than the market average. The company intends to maintain this growth through the expansion of Internet sales in Latin America in general, until they reach the level of half of all sales. "We're investing in Latin America to improve direct sale operations, to make customer services more effective, and to lower operational costs," the company said. -0- Copyright Infolatina, all rights reserved. *** end of story ***
