Thus, one is tolerant, but shows lack of acceptance by refusing to treat the matter as indifferent, but judging its importance in context. On "Soap", for example, most of us rooted for Jody Dallas in his custody battle, but that was because he was so nice and the mother was an unstable bitch. If they had both been about as nice, a lot of people would have rooted for the mother...... |
