I was in SEEK a long time ago but don't follow the search engines closely, except for a recent temporary short position in LCOS which I closed a while back.

What I hear - SEEK is "undervalued" compared to YHOO but seems to be less aggressive or successful at building revenue-generating alliances than YHOO, LCOS and XCIT. SEEK is considered the fourth-ranking search engine in an "industry" which will either wean out the laggards or consolidate.

I wouldn't buy SEEK myself, but it could be worth a small speculative investment.

ISLI - beat earnings by a nickel after the close. My one-month wash sale period ended yesterday so I will look to play this one of it doesn't gap up Friday morning. Similar to SYNT but more of a tool shop than a body shop. Big deal with Sprint not long ago.

Amazingly, SYNT did not gap at the open. You could have bought it under 23 at the opening bell.

DCLK - today's hot IPO. Will probably shoot all over the place. Worth a short play if it opens around $20. They increased the price range from 12- 14 to 16 - 18 so it will probably open too high for my taste.

Good luck everyone.
