All, I also have a bad feeling about this poisen pill/ earnings report. I want an explination about this from the company. This company has a bad habbit of keeping the shareholders in the dark till the last possible minute. Now no comment on a poisen pill filled? If earnings are bad then why not pre-announce like they did before? I will be pissed if they have really bad earnings and failed to pre-announce them. Lets face it somthing is not right here. Ever since the big story leaked that Novell was possibly being bought by IBM and then traded what 13 million shares in an hour and a half? It has been a rollercoaster ride ever since then, and what has Novell said about it? Nothing!! Then an announcement that earnings will be moved to the slowest trading day of the year? No announcement. Then a poisen pill filed with the SEC. No comment? This is a lot of activity for this company to be making in STEALTH MODE!!! Has anyone tried Troop? I wounder what kind of bs he will feed the shareholders!!! I fell Novell has the responsibility to its shareholders to at least inform them of these actions. Its our company after all!!! These fat cat board members want that billion in the bank. Who wouldnt want Novell? If you buy Novell you get great real estate holdings, no debt, 55million installed happy user base, great investmen holdings in smaller technology companies, instant profitability to your bottom line, o ya and a BILLION IN CASH!!! Book on Novell is 7 and change and the company trades for 11 bucks? Mr. Young hello what does Lucent think about this? Let them know a stock swap with Lucent and Novell is perfectly fine with me!!! Scott OUT WITH MARENGI!!!!!
