James you are correct. Budgets are determined by boards, and not from software techies or hardware ones for that matter. SUNW is unique to some extent in their mis-steps but they are not unique in the general downturn in tech cap spending. SUNW's mis-steps more than offset the cap downturn. Look at the price of the stock! $2.96 last
