herm, and all,

walk thru this with me.

RDRT now up 1-1/2 from yesterday, at 23-1/4.
basis 26-1/2
nov25c bidding 1-1/2
jan25c bidding 2-3/8

sell nov25c and basis is 25 - if called out in nov., loss is commissions.
sell stk today, loss is commissions + 3-1/4.

sell jan25c and basis is 24-1/8 - if called out in jan, profit is 7/8 in 4 months or 3.3% or annualized 10% - better than a bank, but...

have to hold the stk to get it and there is a certain amount of unpredictability now that the disk drive sector is issuing warnings - WDC, SEG, and others.

re: nov25c
if stk stays under 25, basis now 25 and keep stk. or if stk moves up gradually, can buy bak nov25cc and write higher.

of course, if the stk tanks ....

thanks for your support,
...and prayers.

jim.
