Hi JDN - I believe cash and long term securities is about $1.76/share but frankly the market does not seem to care. I also figure another $0.50/share in appreciated real estate assets.

I picked up another 1000 shares this AM so I can begin to swap my more expensive shares in 31 days to capture some tax losses this year. I have some shares I bought at $17.50/share and most of the others at around $6.50/share. I have been a holder since early 1998 and took some gains over the years but mostly held and sold covered calls.

I think I will give it another two years to see how this JAVA thing plays out and just how far and deep these mobile cell phone devises (now selling J2EE platform Nokia phones) go. If these JAVA enabled devises are adopted by the market for the consumer cell phone industry, what about many of these other Web enabled application and devises yet to be developed. A successful acceptance by the market of this consumer appliance will provide a lot of credibility for SUNW going forward. At least that is my thought.
