I was just looking up some things about uranium storage. It sounds like the standard container for U3O8 is what we would call a 55-gallon drum, and full or uranium oxide, about a ton (2000 pounds), woerth about $140,000 at today's price. U3O8 in a steel drum is not dangerously radioactive. I guess you could store about 40 of them in a 8X10 foot steel garden shed, or about $5.6 million dollars worth. I have room in a side lot next to my house to build a structure that would hold more than one percent of the total world production of yellowcake for a year.
