Paul, the effective date of the poison pill is Dec. 16. This tends to disassociate the earnings announcement from the poison pill. This may also be one reason to move the earnings announcement up, away from the pill effective date. In a perverse way, the stock may go up, because of the pill. The pill corroborates the sale/takeover rumors, and does not prevent an offer (just strengthens management's hand). This is my rationale, or rationalization, for holding past Tuesday morning. What fun !!! Talk to you Wednesday, when all will be revealed (???).
