Suppose however that a majority of the we the people in some parts of the country wanted to form their own more perfect union. Are you saying that they are bound by what their ancestors did and no longer have any such right on their own behalf? What basis have you for saying, if this is indeed what you are saying, that Tom Paine, Thomas Jefferson, et. al. had the right to break off from the established authority and form a new nation, but Christopher Hodgkin and Terrence Bergh don't have that right?
