I've held a core position in novell throughout 1996 and have been fortunate to make a good return on some trading positions during this period. I refused to sell my core because i was confident that their was so much value in this company that it would ultimately be recognized. but the recent merangi interview really concerns me. In particular, I can't understand how merangi could say that the projections for 1997 are reasonable and yet he was not willing to comment on the projections for 1996. The only thing i can conclude is that this is more of the usual i.e. things will improve in the future but as usual the present stinks. I'd hate to turn my core position into a loss by selling, but i believe it is clear that the fourth quarter will disappoint! I HOPE I'M WRONG I guess we'll find out this week. P.S. thanks to joe, eric, eric etc. for a years worth of inter/intranet education and occasional humor. its been great. now, if only novell management will DO THEIR JOBS AS SO ABLY STATED SO MANY TIMES BY YOU ON THIS THREAD GOOD LUCK TO US ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
