For the record: I have no interest in being "restored" to favor over on Faultline's thread. And I am posting the exchange here merely for the record. I would post them on Faultline's thread except for the fact that I have been banned over there and consigned to a life-time in jail. And Faultline has yet to tell me where I really pissed him-(and others on his thread) off.

I think the real issue is:

Does a President affect Foreign Policy?

Does a President's actions in the Oval Office affect Foreign Policy?

Is it perfectly alright for thread members to praise Clinton's leadership of our country and its Foreign Policy and then turn around and savage anyone who dares to point out his failings and failures?

Clinton has his minions who stand up for him.

Monica has few who care to give her the time of day--including, alas and alack, Bill Clinton himself.

My intentions in my disputed posts were open and honest: to set the record straight and to provide a semblance of balance to an otherwise distorted phenomenon.
