Jerry, MSFT is always paranoid and uses things like that to justify their ruthless practices. The key is, human nature.. People hate to start over learning something new.. You will always find people who find superior software, but without the proper marketing it dies. OS2 was better, but mis-marketed. We are know the Beta vs VHS nightmare. When it comes to a corporate strategy marketing is much more important than R & D, and MSFT is the KING.. Perfect example. Word Perfect, Lotus123 and Dbase were all tops in their fields only a few years ago..and all have been replaced or destroyed by MSFT.. I am no MSFT fan..But I respect their marketing machine.. regards Don
