I tried "The Lowdown" on FX with Ethan Hawke. Yawn. Shrug. Terminal loser caricature taking on the big, bad meanies in town despite his constant-chaos lifestyle. Nick Nolte would have played this role well back in his prime. Just a retread trope now. I lasted about 20 minutes. Click.
