Duke60: Thank you for that crucial point of information. Brinker
did seem rather inclined to cast "a pox on both their houses," and the
official waivers in the cases of Reagan and Bush were not mentioned.
In this wise, however, I believe that Brinker is expressing a gener-
alized feeling amongst the populace that Washington, D.C. is the
uncontested cesspool of domestic corruption and political payoffs.
The prize: a $1.7 odd trillion federal budget with plenty of cracks
and mountains of fraud, waste, and pork. To recall it, even the Gen-
eral Accounting Office has reported that 1/3 of all expenditures are
not justified in one way or another.

That being said, this Administration will surely go down as the most
corrupt since the founding of the Republic. No Administration that
I have ever studied seems to blend the elements of criminality,
bribery, malfeasance, amorality, and treason in so insidious and
diabolical a fashion.
