Tim, check in your area for a place like Cornerstone where you can trade through the ECNs like TNTO, REDI, ISLD, SOES, etc.. You're in SoCal, right? I'll bet there is one close to you. You can get a remote setup in your house for around 200 bucks a month, and you'll pay 20-40 bucks round trip. One second execution, you are the MM. Beats the Internet hands down. I bought KTEL yesterday 5 seconds after the news came across the Dow wire. I sold to the Internet traders. If you're set up for ISLD, for example, you can buy (or sell) to ISLD if they are on the ask (oe bid) instantly. I mean instantly, no waiting to see if some MM is going to take you or not. I really think you should check it out.
