Royal Canadian Mounted Police and local police from Vancouver, West Vancouver and the city of Delta confirmed were searching for evidence of illegal betting and bookmaking offenses, Internet gambling offenses and distribution of pornographic material prohibited under Canadian law, Royal Canadian Mounted Police spokesman Frank Henley said. CKNW/98 radio in Vancouver said the company had been under investigation for 18 months.
