Entering a conversation in midstream has its drawbacks. The issue was economics, not technology. I have no issue with technology attalll. Outsourcing to India or anywhere else is not primarily about technology. It's about economics. If it wasn't about economics, and if relocating manufacturing overseas wasn't about economics, it wouldn't happen. What I said was that there are economic(not to mention political) consequences to economic decisions....and they aren't all good. The world economy is increasingly interdependent, with the US consumer driving the whole thing, but we are reaching a point that is also increasingly precarious. So tell me, when inflation takes hold again and the prices of everything start rising, and foreign banks start selling their dollars because their own currency is more valuable, what then? Who's going to buy those dollars? You?
