Hi guys. I'm new here and am interested in the art of rigorous fundamental analysis. I like companies that are ugly and misunderstood. Rather than attempting to outperform the market by seeking to find patterns and cycles via charts, I believe the only way to consistently beat the market is by investing in companies with intrinsic characteristics, operational efficiency, scalability, competent management (or a company that an idiot can run), & most importantly a market price substantially below par value.
