Trump Optimistic About Winning Nobel Prize in Medicine - newyorker.com .

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Calling it an “amazing accomplishment,” Donald J. Trump said on Monday that he believes that he is the “clear favorite” to win this year’s Nobel Prize in Medicine.

Trump said that he was a “lock” to win the Nobel because of his pioneering work in prescribing the drug hydroxychloroquine.

“I’ve been talking about hydroxychloroquine so much that a lot of people think I invented it,” Trump said. “You have to give the Nobel to someone who invents a major drug like that.”

He dismissed any claim that his lack of medical credentials disqualifies him from winning the Nobel Prize in Medicine.

The Trump began one of his famous rambles, "Just before he was put on a ventilator, I called UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who is a really good friend of mine - just a top guy, and warned him not to fall for the hoax virus, but we all know now he refused to listen to me a fell for the hoax - all made by the Chinese and Democrats to try to embarrass me.

And now Boris has fallen for the hoax, this pretend disease, and I don't know why he's embarrassing me after I already warned him about the hoax. And we used to be such good friends. Then he betrays me. You can't trust anyone in politics."
