Hi Sarge, It's hard over this medium sometimes to convey one's meaning... few of us are superlative writers, certainly not I... one reason I try not to shoot from the lip... although I too fail at times. Didn't we just see a similar scenario :O) I'm not blaming Ontario for this crossing at all. I've posted already (in less certain terms) that IMO basically Belinda is a scuzzy opportunist that will jump wherever she gets power... If the instant cabinet post incentive granted by Martin is not clear enough evidence of her true values then yes electorally we are doomed... Now on the radio she stated she is not comfortable with siding with the Bloc but I guess the corruption of the Liberals is I guess alright in her book... It must be here business background eh! Spin it any way... she is what she is... and like the old Northern Pike's Song Says... She Ain't Pretty ... She Just looks that Way... (see below) Peter Mackay might be humming it.. Harper ? I've also posted today that Harper screwed up.. He is reprising Mike Harris and the provincial tories role as the gang that couldn't shoot straight... fresc pointed out the sad tale of the PCs that want to put gay marriage and abortion as election issues. I'm already on record agreeing here with fresc that Harper made a mistake not waiting for Gomery... My prior post comment refers to two things: 1) Belinda wants to be PM.. that is all she wants... what she does to get it doesn't matter... See she is the Paris Hilton of Canadian politics... If you search around you'll find my opinion on Paris and the sad commentary on the state of the world her popularity infers... 2) Disaffection in Quebec and Alberta will be mitigated by Belinda's great sacrifice and moral choice in crossing the floor thereby saving Canada ? Her inference on public airwaves... not mine) I can think of nothing but what a load of crap to that thought.. Oh and lastly on Belinda... perhaps the saddest thing I'm hearing is the courage it took... very sad people see her in this light... sigh... but no Sarge don't be confused... I'm not blaming Ontario for Belinda's actions or the conservative ineptitude... but I do wonder at all the cheering for her.. that saddens me... but like I said Paris is very popular and I cannot fathom that either.. I think I'll listen to the Quebec news tonight to see how relieved the Quebecers are that Belinda crossed the line... Hail Belinda freedom fighter... protector of the confederation, Now we vote Liberal......BTW Why was it OK for Martin to throw out all his budget plans to buy the NDP ? At least Layton is high class ... he cost Martin over 4 billion... Belinda could be had for a song... she really is like Paris :O) sigh sigh Electing the Liberals is Ontario's fault though :O) This will only serve to further divide the country...
