As an American gentile, one of the folks you seem worried about turning on the Jews, I'll just give my opinion. The most explicitly anti-American people I know of are Noam Chomsky and his associates. Many of them are Jewish. Yet I don't see any sign they've caused any turning against the Jews. So I think you're worrying about nothing.
