Charts and a note of disgust with the specialists.

At todays open sent out a bunch of shorts on various banks on NYSE. 15 minutes plenty of upticks later and I got filled anywhere from 1 to 3 points lower from the open I got filled. How do these guys get away with it? I hope someday there are real reforms in trading so the rules are followed. This activity is illegal and I see it all the time. Ok enough bitchin.

Charts do not look too good, but I have more longs on my list for tomorrow than shorts. Reversal?

Short a lot of banks overnight and despite disgusting fills had a great day going short. At times I was 10,000 shares short, unsuaaly aggresive for me, but hey it worked, at least so far.

Tomorrow I will be looking at the financils to see if there is any reversal. If there is I may go long NASD stocks, I think the Dow is now dragging down the NASD (or maybe it is the news that is dragging down the Dow is also dragging down the NASD). Lots of banks are resting on final support today, which if broken will break a fairly long uptrend.

Let me repeat this look at banks for leadership and also if oil starts down in price. Some of the drillers were weak today, a sign?
