I've used Waterhouse, E Trade, AccuTrade, and Freedom Investments.
Both of my accounts are at Freedom now. $15/trade Internet, $25/trade by modem or phone...even if you have to talk to a broker. Executions have been quick, and as, or more important, they've been fair. They have a separate fee schedule for options that varies by quantity and price, but it's not bad. If a stock is moving, I put in a market order with no worry about them gouging me...unlike some other broker I've used.
