Yea, Kerry was in Vietnam, unlike the deserter Bush who failed to report for duty for over 30 days even though he had cushy job joyriding jets at taxpayer expense, a stay out of Nam job his daddy got him. Then VP OTOH had higher priorities. I saw a Swift Boat ad on Leno last night and I really have to commend Kerry for being brave enough to tell how it was over there. The US killed over 2 million Vietnamese people, few of which were actually soldiers. High altitude carpet bombing, naplam, Agent Orange, etc. It was a war that started by lies from the White House and it was a big mistake. Kerry was brave enough to both fight there and to come back and tell the truth about it.
