"That's the American Way. It's ugly, but it works." Its not just the "American Way", its the way of most living things to defend themselves when attacked. I will make no apologies nor will I personally feel guilty about any American response to yesterday's mass murders. We did not throw down the gauntlet.......the conspirators did. I am personally proud to be an American, I always have been, and I always will be. We have shown more mercy, kindness, charity, and empathy in times of world or national tragedies than any other nation on earth. We try to deal with issues with a sense of justice. We have not always done everything right, because we have been guided by different men with different agendas, but the American PEOPLE, have for the most part, had their hears and their minds in the right places, and certainly NEVER DESERVED THIS.
