I had no problem borrowing STEM late Thursday P.M. at Datek.
But it was only 500 shares and I didn't try elsewhere.

ETrade has been good for shorting in the past. CSFB good for shorting AH if shares are available. Fidelity is a good all around broker also IMHO.
