Frank,

What a great story! My wife has a similiar story regarding the first pig she had to help her dad slaughter. She still hates the sound of squeeling pigs.

Finished reading the Raymond James DOE Inventory Update for the week and one little tidbit is worth noting.

We imported an additional 1.2 mbls/day of crude plus released an additional 1.8 mbls from the SPR. Total petroleum imports of 14.2 mbls/day this week versus 13.0 mbls/day last week.

If we hadn't significantly bumped the imports and drawn inventory out of emergency reserves, the bearish inventory report Wednesday would've been a different story.

How much longer can we import and draw down reserves to keep the wheels from coming off?

Peel back the data just a tad and the situation this country is in is scary. To support out petroleum usage we are importing close to 70% of our needs plus drawing down stockpiles.

How much longer will our dollar support this? Our government is playing a dangerous game by not allowing the market to ration by price.

Michael
