And he was criticized for being too optimistic. Given that unemployment was nearly 8% at the time, it clearly was. More reasonable projected put it at peaking at over 10%. That seems likely. "We are now 2 points beyond that. Clearly, Obama THOUGHT it was a "jobs program"." Dance, dance. Spin, bob and weave. Certainly it was intended to prop up employment. And it has. But that wasn't the only goal. As you are well aware. Quit trying to spin this.
