<Also, if the error message says "Scan syntax error, unexpected letter" and the cursor is highlighting a certain letter, is the problem what it is pointing to? (e.g. Cooper scan by Richard highlights the s in scan as it shows S instead of s)>

I also had the same error. I deleted that line from the scan and it ran ok.............Bruce
