ON Technology Forges Deal With MCI WorldCom to Manage Tens of Thousands of PCs
Another leading Global Communications Service Provider Completes a Substantial Purchase of ON Command CCM
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 22, 1999-- ON Technology Corporation (NASDAQ:ONTC - news) today announced that MCI WorldCom has purchased ON Command CCM(TM), the industry's leading enterprise desktop management system, to continuously manage and configure tens of thousands of PCs in multiple locations. ON Command CCM meets the scalability and reliability requirements of large and growing distributed telecommunications companies as demonstrated by the 100,000 managed desktops at Deutsche Telekom, another multi-million dollar ON Command CCM installation. Using ON Command CCM, MCI WorldCom will have the ability to remotely deploy all tests, fixes and updates to PCs throughout their entire lifecycle.
