Just hope this is the true beginning of something - the spike up today may be the result of an interview Richard Grasso did last night on Nightly Business Report.

His view of the future of the NYSE is that it will need to have extended trading hours, 16-20, to remain a truly competitive global market. That would mean, in my estimation, that computers which could provide a sound after-hours pricing scheme, basically the technology Ashton is developing, would be necessary.

I can't imagine Specialist and brokers manning their posts for 16 hours a day.

Any other thoughts about the move today?
