The VARL earnings were ahead of MRM's-phooey. I guess my activity in SI here has cost me dearly because VARL's stock price is way down. As predicted they missed the way over inflated estimate by one cent. I guess if you don't own VARL this is the quarter to possibly consider a stake because I feel in 1998 VARL will make over .75 for the year.
