File compatibility: Corel anticipates on the file format war (which IMO will follow the OS war after Java has won) by adding conversion tools for SGML in WP8.
Standard General Markup Language is the format in the printers bussiness. That means you can express every text format in SGML.
I think Proprietary formats for text will all die in the future while SGML takes their place.
For music notation, vector drawings, video, real audio etc. the formats still have to be picked ...
