I thought ya'll might be amused by this one ... this is Sprint saying to a POTS customer that they're sorry his 56K modem slowed down to 28.8 when they installed new gear in his neighborhood -- we're sorry you know, but the tariff only calls for us to support 9600. We do, however, have this wonderful ISDN service you can buy. wired.com These guys are not even on the same planet as Jermoluk. I like to understand the %alignment of an organization to achieve it's goals ... ATHM is 100% aligned within the NewMedia goalset. The telcos are simply not highly aligned toward that goal. Even AOL is not 100% aligned with the necessary future I wonder what things are like inside the halls of T these days?
